WIOA Approved CDL Programs
All books and study materials are provided to students. We have a custom-built driving simulator and proprietary software to aid our students in obtaining the best possible results in the shortest amount of time.
4Weeks CDL Program: (includes $350 for Secretary of State permit fees, examination fee, hazardous materials endorsement fingerprinting, Department of Transportation physical and drug screening test)
160 hours instruction course consists of:
- 40 hours of classroom training time
- 60 hours of remedial training time
- 20 hours of observation time
- 20 hours of skills practice
- 20 hours of road training
A 160-hour instruction course is an accelerated program designed to provide the necessary skills to pass the CDL exam. The 4 Week Classes are recommended for students with prior industry experience such as holders of a lower class CDL licenses (class B or C), the military personnel who have operated combination vehicles during their service, diesel technicians who have familiarity with the interworking of class 8 commercial vehicles. Persons who have operated a class 8 vehicles without the CDL A requirement (firefighters, government employees, farmers)
6 Weeks CDL Program: (includes $350 for Secretary of State permit fees, examination fee, hazardous materials endorsement fingerprinting, Department of Transportation physical and drug screening test)
The 200-hour course is an intermediate course recommended for students for entry-level drivers with knowledge of manual transmission.
200 hours instruction course consists of:
- 74 hours of classroom training time
- 60 hours of remedial training time
- 20 hours of observation time
- 23 hours of skill practice
- 23 hours of road training
200-hour course includes all the elements of a 160-hour course with an added emphasis on cargo loading and securing techniques, simulator training in different weather conditions, various road environments, and advanced skill maneuvers.
8 Weeks CDL Program: (includes $350 for Secretary of State permit fees, examination fee, hazardous materials endorsement fingerprinting, Department of Transportation physical and drug screening test)
The 240-hour course is an entry-level course recommended for all students.
200 hours instruction course consists of:
- 90 hours of classroom training time
- 80 hours of remedial training time
- 20 hours of observation time
- 25 hours of skill practice
- 25 hours of road training
The 240-hour course covers all the aspects of previous courses. The training provides detailed training objectives in handling a combination of vehicle and is recommended for people with no experience in using a manual transmission. This is the most beneficial and comprehensive program and is designed to make an easier transition into a new career.
Eligibility Requirments
- Meet required income level; and
- 18 years of age or older; and
- S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; and
- Compliance with selective service (if required).
Dislocated Worker Eligibility:
- Unemployed due to a plant closure; or
- Unemployed due to a layoff or received notice of layoff and is unlikely to return to previous occupation; or
- Substantial layoffs at a plant or facility; or
- Employed at a facility at which the employer has made a general announcement that the facility will close; or
- Self-employed individuals, farmers, ranchers, and fishermen who are unemployed due to economic conditions or a natural disaster.
